Industry Affiliations
We are continually building upon our knowledge by taking an active role in industry organizations such as Associated General Contractors (AGC), ASA (America Subcontractors Association) and Houston Contractors Association (HCA). Slack & Co. President Jim Slack, Jr. has held several leadership positions in these organizations including: President, ASA; President, HCA; and Chairman, AGC America Specialty Contractors Council. Director of Operations Alex Joseph currently sits on, and is a past Chairman of, the education committee of the ASA Houston Chapter. He is also the moderator of the ASA Houston Chapter's BPI Forum. Additionally, Alex is a member of the AGC Houston Chapter’s Lean Construction Task Group, In 2008, General Field Superintendent, Joe Lopez, was the recipient of the AGC-Houston chapter’s standard of excellence award. |
